Inside My Life For a Month

For the month of July I will attempt to share daily about what’s going on in my life. I pray that it will be uplifting, encouraging and empowering. You will also get a quick view of my natural hair journey, cooking and walking by faith as I watch the hands of God move to heal my body.

Here’s a little something of what to expect. Last week I had my grandson (JJ). So I could take him to Vacation Bible School (VBS). One morning prior to going I went to the carwash to clean Pepper (the name of my car).

Saturday, my daughter went to the same carwash and JJ told her that OMA (me – German for grandmother) came here and her American Card didn’t work. She didn’t understand what he was saying, so she asked again. You know Tina American Gold Card. She put it together, oh I got it Oma’s American Express Card.

The card didn’t work because they didn’t accept American Express cards. I had the carwash backed up an employee had to come out and help me back up. Yes a little embarrassed. Thank God for tinted windows. Pepper is still dirty.

Funny how kids view things and what comes out of their mouth. That’s why we have to be careful what we say and do around them.
